Pastor Daniel Iwinski

I am a native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  Following college I worked at Merrill Lynch as a Financial Consultant.

As a seminarian at Concordia Theological Seminary I did my vicarage at Bethany Lutheran Church in Kaukauna, Wisconsin serving under Pastor Walter Steinbach.  While at Bethany Lutheran Church I helped with the mission start located in Wrightstown.  This mission outreach today is Alleluia, Lutheran Church.   I learned a lot from Pastor Steinbach and am grateful for my experiences.

In March of 2000 I was called to be the Pastor of St. John's Lutheran Church in Almond, Wisconsin.   I was blessed to have served such a loving congregation who helped shape me to be the pastor I am today.  (Almond is home to the annual 'Tater-Toot Festival' celebrated each July).

In late 2007 I resigned from the Lutheran Church--Missouri Synod (LCMS) and began the process of colloquy to the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS).  I attended Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in Mequon, Wisconsin for the 2007-2008 school year.

In August 2008 I received the call to serve as Pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran Church & School where it is my pleasure to serve.

My wife Cheryl and I live in East Moline, Illinois with our two dogs Amicus and Philos.
